My Focus

Therapeutic sessions are held in a safe virtual space for you to express and focus on your whole person; mind, body, soul, and spirit. I will help you shift your narrative by incorporating techniques such as nature exploration, mindfulness, expressive movement and art, and journaling.

Within session there are various areas we may explore: values and beliefs, life domains, self-limiting beliefs, inner critic, strengths, exploring your needs, wants, vision, finding joy in play and life experiences, self-love, self-esteem, self-confidence, cognitive distortions, trauma, attachment style, and communication.

In a sensitive direct way, I will nudge you to find the courage to take charge of your life and hold yourself accountable. I want you to show up as you are by removing the personas, those masks that have kept you from reaching your full potential. If you are feeling the nudge, reach out and let us discuss your needs and if we are a fit for each other.

Meet Erica

Year 2020, similar too many shifted my personal perspectives. I was on my journey of self-discovery. I was living a joyful life and recognized the disconnect with body and mind, and the fear of being with my thoughts and feelings. There was greatness awaiting me. With courage, permission to love her, and a clear vision it was time to fill in the in-between to reach my desired path. I am a wife, mother of two young adults, and a free-spirted traveler. I know that feeling of deep yearning in the core of the body and mind for that something. I embrace all parts of me, as she/her has a place in this world to live her version, to be curious, to connect. Connection is critical in our search for support.

I have a love for travel, exploration, and freedom. While enjoying quiet moments alone, in silence or with a good cup of coffee and my journal.

My specialities are lived experiences backed by evidenced-based training in the field of social work and clinical psychotherapy. In 2021, I embarked on life changing decisions, left the comfort of a “life” that was cultivated to end intergenerational trauma, and those silent wounds. Life was on my terms, as I created and embraced my unknown with curiosity rather than fear and worry. Intentionally, everyday I decide to provide the world with my gifts. Whether that is through building therapeutic alliances with clients, to showing acts of kindness to strangers and loved ones. Shame, guilt, resentment, and anger can shift through the acts of gratitude, joy, forgiveness, acceptance, and self-love.
